帰り道

毎日歩いてるけど、一人で行くとなんか寂しく感じる。
やっぱり、二人で一緒に歩きながら、話してて、帰り道も楽しくなるね!

一人暮らし

Quite happy with myself today, for clearing some errands and having enjoyed the short cafe visit. This week, on the overall, has been much more productive in terms of improving myself. Not as good as I'd wanted, so will try harder next week. Don't wanna feel useless with what I'm doing with my life....

I'm starting to harbour thoughts of getting a new lappy. Not really new, since I haven't had one for sometime and my current is serving me very well in both aesthetic aspect and technical specifications.

I dont like this feeling as if I'm living alone (even though it is not true technically speaking).
=( There are times I thought of just moving back to Sunny Island.

2 weeks (nearly)

Have I said before I love Google?

I know how it looks like, as if I'm counting down to the days I have left to such days. Except that I'm counting up and have no idea where's the ends to it.

The Geek's been pretty busy this week, with 3 days of his evenings spent on that mgmt class thgy, where he has to go all the way to HQ to attend. Doesnt help that it ends pretty late so there's no point in waiting somewhere to have dinner. I tried once, but ended up to know at 9pm that it's not going to be over soon.

The apartment. Another thing I still can't get myself to accept yet. The more I think about it, the more I want to find another place. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing really bad about the place, in fact, minus my fussiness and bias, it's actually quite a nice place. Near the train station, convenient, clean and safe. Just that I can't bring myself to live on the 2nd floor. Yes, it's really safer when an earthquake strikes, compared to the 11th floor. But this doesn't mean much to someone who lived on the 19th floor who hasn't really experienced much quakes, yet. Ok I'm sorry, don't make me live in eternal quakes k? The company is still holding back the processing, we're just waiting for that freaking signature to get things moving. By 'we', I mean the landlord and us. Everything's there but the signature. How stupid can things get. I'm hoping that at least with the moving over, I can start getting myself occupied with settling down in the new place and setting up stuffs.

Hopefully we can settle the Hokkaido trip and ROM stuffs real soon too...

Bored. I might end up talking to myself one day. Coz everyone else I know is working during normal office hours, that this is when I'm feeling the real impact of loneliness. Can imagine my Mom saying "There, I told you!". This is not going to bring me down. Need to find some activities, to keep my mind off things (like how I want and dont want to move into THAT apartment, ALL AT THE SAME TIME). I don't want to face the mess everyday too, and I think there's no point cleaning up since he'll mess it up the next minute he gets home. MEN!

Oh yeah not to mention, I've been spending so much by going out that I've bust my budget for a month in less than 2 weeks. Fantastic. Sometimes I have the impulse to tell myself "Just spend as much as you want, for goodness sake! There's no point in holding back your money!".

Well, yeah. There's actually quite a few things I have to can do. I'm just too obsessed with these crazy thoughts to get myself moving. And I'd better start before I sound too grumpy.

Just a random pic to record my Bejeweled winnings

Alright, off to the town centre to run some errands, and try out a new cafe! =)

Granny

was at the granny's, where she stays in a home, with the family today. pretty impressed with their facilities, which doesnt look anythg like ive seen back home (then again, that was years ago).... well at least she looks happy to be there.

i then got reminded of the terrible thgs that happened t the old folks' home in sunny island. sickening people who doesnt think twice abt what they are doing? argh...

dropped by the sch the bro is teaching tennis at, and found him being v serious w his work. on the way back fr dinner, we bumped into the sis who was returning fr work.... wow everyone works v hard, so hard i feel like a bummer! also started thinking to myself, they are indeed a very closely knitted family.... "Yours is pretty special, if i have to say.", he responded when i told him that. Instead of feeling offended, i didnt know whether to feel fortunate or not....

so tired.... niteyz!

1 week

TWG-ing in Japan =P

today marks the 1 week 'anniversary' I've spent in Japan. Have visited quite a few places, seen quite alot. Hope I can gain a better sense of direction, which would really help me in venturing further from Tokyo centre.

Haven't been sleeping well. Might be the sofa bed that I have been sleeping in, or the pillow (?!), the environment, or just everything. Headed to Meiji Jingu hoping to get a peace of mind, that helped abit, somehow... o_O

The new apartment isn't ready yet, everything's resting in the hands of the company. Well if they want to do this slowly, there's nothing I can do either. Just that I snapped today while looking for sugar in his kitchen. It was just nothing, but looking for it in the small space turned me off totally. Later on, I made a big fuss for no obvious reason... only to realise that I might have become abit depressed about being confined to the small apartment. Cannot let this spiral on, gotta find some other activities to keep myself busy, hopefully outside of the house.

Have been cooking quite abit, and things are turning out alot nicer than I thought they would be under my hands. In fact, very tasty so far. The MIL got me a recipe book on basics of cooking, which I was reluctant to pick up earlier. But from what I've done this week, I have the book (and MIL) to thank =) Well she's been the most enthusiastic around, offering to check out apartments for us, getting my contacts in case I need help (very much appreciated), visiting wedding venues and passing us brochures, and dishing out cooking advices once in awhile. She's really just very concerned for us, in her own ways. Reminding me of my own mom, who keeps asking (Sis) about me and when I'll be going back.

The Geek has been most accommodating, answering my silliest questions even though he's busy at work, like if I can find sesame dressing anywhere (when it's just in the fridge).

1 week only, and I still have a looooong loooooong way to go.
